About this lot
De T3 is een bestelwagen die werd geproduceerd van 1979 tot 1992 door Volkswagen. Het is de derde generatie van de Transporter-serie en wordt gekarakteriseerd door zijn vierkante ontwerp en achterin geplaatste motor. Verkrijgbaar in verschillende configuraties, waaronder personenwagens, bestelwagens en campers, stond de T3 bekend om zijn praktisch, ruim interieur en algemene betrouwbaarheid.
Deze T3 is een zeldzaam “Enka”-model. Enka staat voor Einzelkabine, wat in het Duits "enkele cabine" betekent. De Enka-variant is specifiek een enkel-cabine pick-upversie van de T3 Transporter.
Deze Enka is zorgvuldig gerestaureerd en goed onderhouden. Het betreft een speciale variant met een toegangspunt in het midden van de achterwand. Dit is zo ontworpen voor het gebruik van een camper top, zodat mensen zich vrij kunnen bewegen van de cabine naar de camper zonder het voertuig te verlaten.

Deze T3 werd oorspronkelijk in Duitsland geleverd en komt met documentatie / facturen die teruggaan tot de jaren '90. Een vers gespoten reservewiel is aanwezig, evenals een nieuwe tapijtset.
Omdat dit een latere productie van de T3 is, heeft het enkele upgrades ten opzichte van de eerdere T3's, zoals; stuurbekrachtiging, de JX 1600cc Turbodieselmotor (ongeveer 70 pk) en een manuele 5-versnellingsbak. Deze toevoegingen maken deze iconische VW-klassieker perfect geschikt voor het moderne verkeer en comfort!
