Victor Spahn ( 1949 - )

Victor Spahn, born on March 20, 1949, is a French painter of Russian origin. The artist dropped out of school at an early age and started with small works before going to work in the workshop of a ceramic tile manufacturer. Eventually, he founded his own mosaic decoration company in 1968. Two years later, he won his first prize for a mosaic table in New York and participated in several exhibitions such as the Independent Artist Fair and the Fair of French Artists. His meeting with Andre Lanskoy led him to try his hand at painting. Thanks to the lessons of this great painter, Victor Spahn exhibited his pieces in 1971. He held his first individual exhibition in 1975 at the Liszt Gallery in Paris, and the following year the Toyota company dedicated an exhibition to him. He quickly became part of the world of sports by creating several posters that he created for the Open Golf Peugeot, the Perrier tournament, the World Polo Championship, the French rugby stadium and the Formula 1 Grand Prix. His works have earned him the nickname 'painter of the movement'.
