NY SUBWAY original lime drawing on black matte paper. Extremely rare original Keith Haring subway drawing. Very large unique work. Keith Haring noted that the empty ad spaces of the New York City subway were covered with matte black paper when ad subscriptions expired. He immediately bought some chalk and started drawing. Over the next five years, this became a daily, repetitive obsession. His subway drawings are among his best-known and most celebrated work.
