Each sculpture, although from a series, has veins unique to the other examples because they are handmade by the artist. The artwork is carefully coated with varnish to give it a shiny appearance and improve its durability. Inspired by the technique of the Japanese artist Kintsugi, born from the idea that an even greater form of aesthetic perfection could come from an imperfection or an injury, evoking the symbol of resilience. Santicri is an Italian artist born in 1992 in Macerata, in the Marche region. After studying surveying and architecture, his career led him to collaborate with a sculptor. It was a revelation, he learned the techniques related to this discipline and made his first creations. "It's never easy to put a label on your own artistic work. I try to convey my way of seeing what surrounds me, reinterpreting them with a contemporary, eye-catching and unforgettable design." His works have been sold all over the world, in collaboration with Italian and European galleries.
