About this lot
MOKE FILS (Mosengwo-Odia) was born in Kinshasa in 1968. He is the eldest son of Moke, a well-known Congolese painter. In 1997 he made his first oil painting. After Moke's death, he was further supported by his father's painter friends, such as Chéri Samba, Chéri Cherin, Bodo and others. He practices the same style as his father and paints scenes from everyday life in Kinshasa. He has exhibited repeatedly in Congo, Belgium and Austria. Very nice large original artwork with accompanying photo of the artist with the work. Very nice rare work gallery value 6500€
