Franscz Witte (Texel, 1935) - ORIGINAL

Nude - in beautiful colours - two performances (double-sided) - Franscz Witte was born on Texel and studied at the Stadsacademie in Tilburg and the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht. He draws his inspiration from his many study trips to Mexico, Nepal, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Iceland, Canada and France, among others. Witte searches for the structures of human behaviour and translates them into his work. He is moved not only by the cave paintings of Altamira, but also by the poetic dream images of Marc Chagall, in whose studio he worked for some time.
