About this lot

From 1917 onwards, Monet Goyon mainly made handicapped bicycles, tricycles. There was a great demand for this due to the many victims of WWI. In 1918 they bring their first motorcycle on the market with a 117cc head-side valve block of which the intake valve is a sniffer valve. This motorcycle reached 70km/h. Nice early bike with some special features such as location of the engine, curved frame tubes and special front fork suspension, foot brake on the flywheel. This motorcycle is a barn find that finally sees the light of day again after many years. Engine has good compression. A slightly younger carburetor has been fitted but the original one is included. Needs to be restarted. No papers.
