Original work - beautifully framed in box frame! - Anneke Umbgrove took watercolour lessons and worked in the former studio of the Van Gogh Museum, then for two years at the Vrije Academie in The Hague. She is inspired by nature, her immediate surroundings, the garden, her travels. Moods and emotions play a major role in her work. A synthesis of form and matter that culminates in a poetic composition.
